2016.03.06 Ningbo to Dhaka Air Freight Service Commences

At 10:25 on March 6, a Uni-Top Airlines’ B747-200 aircraft rose into the air from Ningbo Lishe International Airport, inaugurating its scheduled air freight service to Dhaka, Bangladesh.

This marked the opening of Uni-Top Airlines' Ningbo-Dhaka route. Additionally, it set a new record for Ningbo airport to operate large aircraft in the service of regular international air freight.

The scheduled flight takes off once a week, mainly ferrying textiles, fabrics, general merchandise, aquatic products, etc.

Following the successful establishment of Wuhan to Dhaka route, this is one more China-Dhaka freight route Uni-Top Airlines has opened, which is intended for expanding the Bangladesh market, and offering services that meet demands of clients in the East China for efficient and diversified air transport. Meanwhile, it is also the company's positive response to the national ‘One Belt, One Road’ strategy.

With Uni-Top Airlines increasing its air routes to Dhaka, the cargo transport capacity from China to Bangladesh will be reinforced so as to relieve its inadequate situation and offer more choices for clients.

The year of 2016 has witnessed the booming of Uni-Top Group, especially in air cargo transport. The seven newly-introduced A300-600 aircraft will be gradually put into operation, and new routes to Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan are also to be opened successively, further fortifying the Group's global air freight network.
