2016.02.26 The Opening of Wuhan-Mumbai Route Applauded

Uni-Top Airlines, after long-term market research and preparation, will open a new air freight route from Wuhan to Mumbai in March in response to the national ‘One Belt, One Road’ strategy, and in order to build up an air freight network encircling Wuhan and radiating from it to South Asia. This is one more important international air cargo route it has established, after the Wuhan to Bishkek, Wuhan to Delhi, Wuhan to Almaty, and Wuhan to Dhaka routes successively into full operation.

The Boeing 747-200 jumbo cargo freighters are to be applied in this air transport service. Scheduled are two flights per week, with 5 hours and 50 minutes per flight. The shipments to be transported comprise electronic products, textiles, construction engineering equipment and so forth.

The planning of Wuhan-Mumbai route, a significant link in Uni-Top Airlines’ air cargo network, not only corresponds to China’s ‘One Belt, One Road’ strategy but also sets an example in attracting more clients from China and India, which will for certain benefit the company, and many regions in both countries as well.
